In 1881 she is living in Halberton, Devon. She is a widow aged 63 and a Miller and Baker employing 2 men. With her is her Daughter Rachel and son Samuel. The census certificate for 1891 is not clear if her son Joel, a Baker, and wife Mary Ann are living with them or in the neighbouring property.
In 1891 she is living at Wards Cottages, Hilberton, Devon with her son Samuel. She is a widow aged 72 and a Retired Miller and Baker.
