The name Hilton has been used as a second forename by 5 generations through the Kennett and into the Sumner line, to commemorate Stephen Hilton 1785-1972 - Commander of the Royal Navy, who also served in the battle of Trafalgar under Admiral Nelson on the HMS Minatour.
It was one of Stephen Hilton's nephews who married a Kennett.
